Dear Senator Coburn,
Thank you for standing ground on abortion. I have written to you in the past in regard to parental rights being equal with fathers. There has been some progress and thank you.
Now I am writing to you because I feel my pursuit to happiness is in danger. If the government becomes destructive of these ends, is it the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government? I am not asking or wanting the government to be destroyed, but feel the government is not acting on the best interest of its people. There are false promises by President Obama have been made and has destroyed the pursuit of happiness. It has destroyed my liberty.
Why is the government becoming a socialist? No accountability on the heavy taxes my money went to bail out corporations who scoff and want more. Why am I going to be required to purchase health insurance or pay a fine? That destroys my liberty in my freedom to choose. A freedom that I fought for in the US Army. Government does not do enough for disabled veterans or veterans. The price is too much for us to pay in our families. Increase in disorders and divorces and then a cycle of broken families begin.
Why is the government failing the people? Money to be funded for Afaghan when we have hungry people here. Lost of jobs and homes. If the country was founded on the bible, then why are we trying to get rid of things, which was founded. Would it not make sense to do a stimulus for families with debt of 20K credit card debt to be paid off or forgiven to boost economy, instead of the banks?
I am at a turmoil as to why the people are being left out what the government should do.
