Price of Life

What is the price for human life? According to Jennifer Kay of the Associated Press story (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100130/ap_on_re_us/us_medical_airlift_haiti) there is a price. Money is more important than human life. United States halts airlifting aid to Haiti because no one wants to account for the cost of saving a human life. Haitians are dying because they are unable to be airlifted to critical places. What in the world is going on with human mankind? Are we beginning to kill ourselves off and only the strong survive?

According to Ginger Adams Otis of the New York Post (http://www.nypost.com/p/news/local/brooklyn/emt_duo_on_break_let_preg_mom_die_mrj8Jv8kjmS0Z3FNO4DmiL) selfishness of taking a break costs two lives. It appears coffee and donuts along with a break from saving lives were more important than a pregnant woman suffering from a seizure. The woman and her unborn child die.

What is the price for human life? According to the Associated Press (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/25475759/) hospital staff allowed a 49 year old woman to die. Other patients and security personal watched a woman die. She waited in the emergency room for 24 hours and fell out of her chair and was pronounced dead almost an hour later. No one wanted to be involved.

What is the price for human life? According to Kansas City News station KMBC-TV (http://www.kmbc.com/health/6882159/detail.html) Tracy Pierce, 37, died because his health insurance (Coventry insurance) didn’t want to provide or cover treatment, after doctors appealed many times over.

What is the price for human life? According to these incidents the price is death. What happened to the will for others to live? Has mankind become money hungry driven? CEO’s starving employees because of the big bonuses and providing layoffs. Some CEO’s forget who provided that money in the first place and there is no recompense for it. This seems gloomy. After all this could be you. What is the price of your life?

There is hope. It isn’t in material things. There is mental stability. The price for mankind has been paid in blood and in full. Never have to worry about your insurance (Grace) not covering you. You won’t have to worry and you know you can be well taken care of. Thank God that through His Son mankind has been bought with a price (1 Corinthians 6:20). God has given us everything pertain to life and godliness. It’s time to start life over. Are you ready?
