Blessings Accumulating Numinous Knowledge (BANK)

A devout life does bring wealth, but it's the rich simplicity of being yourself before God. (1 Timothy 6:6)

What do you bank on in your everyday life? Do you look at the withdrawals people make on your feelings and emotions? Do you look at the investments that are made into your life? Some banks are large enough to house billions of dollars. Some banks are small that they even refused $6,000 dollars in rolled coins from a man trying to pay his credit bill off. How much interest are you investing into others?

Banking can be very tough and taxing on emotions as well as physically. What happens when you stuff and bank into the mattress of your soul? Who will reap the benefits of the riches you possess? The way we think and the way we handle our business will determine out functionality of our lives. There are checks and balances in order for us to maintain the right amount of debt of gratitude, we loan to others, which are investing in our lives.

Often times, we misuse our numinous accumulation of blessings of knowledge of life. Another words, the blessings (investment) we receive from the Father or from others accumulates into a numinous (arousing one’s elevated feelings or surpassing comprehension) of our knowledge of life. What do we do with the things we are blessed with in our life? Do we squander the forgiveness when lives are bankrupt of misery and seek our friendship or love?

What we do for each other is to provide a certificate of deposits. Often times they reap investments for return of favors or kindness. Sometimes when we invest in others, we lose the interest and not able to make withdrawals. Sometimes, we rob others of their interests in us, when we use them, say unkind, rude or harsh language, or we feel their irreconcilable differences that cannot mend the relationship.

Take the time to spend your time of investment in others. Soon you can see the benefits, and one may never know the impact you could have on their life. There are those who are bankrupt and the commodities of society are not enough. Some say life is not fair. However, life is fare. We pay the consequences, and it forms us into coal or diamond and it all depends upon how well you yield to be spent. The return on your investment is how well you bank on your happiness.

It is time to invest in others; in order for them to feel they are invested. Often their pilot light will need to be relit, so that they can get on fire and consume life and provide warmth for those around them. Light the fire and allow the B.lessings A.ccumlate N.uminous K.nowledge in others. You are important person. Believe in yourself and you are worthy of investments of others placing their confidence in you. Do not store these treasures within yourself, but relinguish the wealth of who you are. You will never know how much of an impact you can have even though you feel you are only worth a penny.

The Need For Control (Captivated On Not The Release Of Life)

These are the days of our lives. No, not the soap opera on television, but the everyday life we experience. The decisions we make today will have an everlasting effect on the future. We may feel it to be necessary to rush into a decision without thinking of the consequences of the future. Who we encounter today will have a long lasting effect. What we do today will have a long lasting ripple effect through the time continuum.

There is a desire to have control in our life. We feel we must be in control in order to prevent being hurt. Sometimes, control is a positive and rewarding factor. It is like having self-control when you eat so that you do not become obese. Self control in money matters so that you do not go broke and live in the streets. What about control when something is happening in your life?

We get behind the wheel of a car, bike, or we walk knowing we have control over our destination. Sometimes without thinking of the consequences, or we rationalize this may not happen to me. However, for some of us, we can get on an airplane and not have control of flying, but knowing with confidence; we can get to our destination without the fear of crashing.

When something that is out of our norm of life expectations we tend to want to control. What is control? My acronym for CONTROL is Captivated On Not The Release Of Life. When we feel something is not going the way it should we want to be captivated on not letting it go from our live and let life happen. Can this be classified as a control-freak?  A freak by definition (Webster’s, 2011) “is a person who has withdrawn from normal rational behavior and activities to pursue one interest or obsession.”

When you add control and freak together you have a person whose behavior indicates a powerful need to control others or circumstances in everyday matters. Sometimes we may feel that we desperately are needing things in our life to go perfect. Therefore, why is controlling so important?

This is a self-imposed and self-taught lie we feed upon everyday. We believe we must be in control in order for our lives to be the way we desire and that implies we know what exactly is good and what is not good. Control is important to us because we do not trust on the reliance of God that it will turn out just fine. Wanting to have control or take control is a false trust in us.

Do you feel you need the following:
• Sense of Order
• Feel that all is well
• Take out the uncertainty
• Provide calm and peace
• Less worry and anxiety
• Feel of power
• No one else can do a better job than I can

If you feel at least two of those then that is considered a control freak. If you want to change then we have to understand what causes this control feeling within us. That underlying core is FEAR. Remember my acronym for fear is forgetting everything about righteousness. We fear because of the unknown failures, embarrassment, insignificant, or we fear because we do not understand. We fear and therefore, we do not understand, and walls and barriers are created in relationships. Sometimes because of fear the control sets in and that chokes out the relationship.

We can be free of CONTROL. We do not have to be captivated on the pursuit of holding onto life. We need to release life and live life; as Paul says, For we do not receive a spirit that makes us a slave to fear, but we have received a Spirit of sonship that we can cry out to Him” (Romans 8:15). Pride also causes us to control (Romans 12:3).

Control in the sense we do not want to release life and let it happen to be not the fruit of the Spirit. We all put up control as a way to get to the means of our destination. Often times causing harm to others and that is not the fruit of the Spirit in control.

Allow God to be the Pilot, Christ as the copilot and the Holy Spirit to be the navigator in your life. When you become a steward is when you can enjoy the flight in life. James states that when we have selfish ambition (control) we will have a disorder (James 3:16). Therefore, we must understand we cannot direct our steps (Jeremiah 10:23). We must look to the wisdom and counsel of the One (Proverbs 19:20-21) and allows his light in (Proverbs 20:27) in order for Him to make our paths straight (Proverbs 3:6).

Let go of CONTOL and the wheel of life. Sit back and have confidence things can work out if you let the control belong to the One and not yourself. It is a constant battle in not wanting to be in control when you enter into unknown realms of inexperience. If you feel the need to control then prayer is the control of releasing life into the Creator.

Getting to the Power source

Have you run out of gas? No, not the kind you put into your car. Human beings need G.A.S. because it is the fuel to get us through this life. Think of our body as a car. Our soul is what will carry us when our car breaks down. However, your soul needs the fuel to keep everything running.

G.A.S. is my acronym to remind me that I need to fuel up my tank. G.A.S. is like regular car fuel that ignites into combustion to get the car parts to move the car forward. When you run out, you are just stuck on the road.

G.A.S. means God’s Accessible Son. Think of it this way. How does your home receive energy? Solar power, natural gas or maybe, electricity is the source to keep the lights on. In the ice storm of 2007 in Tulsa power went out. Never seen a city turn black and businesses were in the dark and today everyone that lives in a robust society will need power.

Ever vacuumed the house or used a power appliance or tool that needed power through an electrical cord? One has to be plugged into the main source in order for it to run. Stretching to far can leave you stranded with no power. Even rechargeable batteries need a power source to be plugged in.

Your life needs G.A.S., power, or an energy source that can keep you moving. Using the wrong kind of power can also damage the internal cogs of your body. Another words trying to do everything on your own or trying to control everything in your life can lead to depression, anxiety, and burn out.

Next time you pay the power company, put gas in your car, adjust your solar panels or use an electrical or battery appliance think of it in this manner. One must be plugged in, recharged or fueled up in order to make it through this life. Your body is the car and your soul is the engine that runs your body. When the body fails the engine keeps going forward and it will need G.A.S. Your soul can be like a rechargeable battery and if it isn’t plugged into the source, then you are not effective. Your soul is the power tool that impacts others around you in this time continuum that moves us forward.

In this physical world we have to pay for our energy sources. Our spiritual beings our energy source is already paid for. No matter how high gas prices can get, it will never account for the price that was paid for our spiritual energy.

I have been in situations where I came unplugged. I let my batteries run out of fuel. I also have run out of fuel and hit bottom in my life. I soon realized that I needed to stay plugged into the power source. I needed G.A.S. to keep my life motivated and going. I realized that I cannot do it on my own, and it is not my life (Jeremiah 10:23). One may not believe in the bible or God, and that may be fine with you, but I also know that I use to be in that spot until I got G.A.S. in my life. There is purpose in my life there is a driven desire.

If you are suffering from depression, stuck in a rut, have an uncontrollable life, unsure of who you are, why you exist, and just cannot seem to get moving, then you need G.A.S.. I know it sounds silly at first, but as I reflect on my life, I was all of those things, and my life was upside down. G.A.S. is bought and paid for by the One, and you never have to worry about spiritual gas prices going up. If you need to get plugged in, reenergized or need G.A.S., please contact me. God's Accessible Son has already been bought and paid for and its free gas.
